Since researching ERP systems I have learned a lot. I seemed to be most intrigued with ERP systems that are agile. Agile software gives you the ability to innovate. Many company’s providing agile software will work with your team that is helping develop your new ERP system and agile software has the ability to fit your needs.

Agility can give your organization a durable competitive advantage. Agile ERP software will adapt to your culture. This ERP system can continue to alter, stay flexible and scalable. This allows for any needed changes to be implemented even after your system has launched.

Integrating with other systems such as Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and Six Sigma is a benefit that agile ERP can accomplish. Many software systems have a very difficult sometimes almost impossible time integrating with other systems such as these.

With agility the sky is the limit. This software will continue to reinvent itself from the time implemented until years from now. This will allow your ERP software to continue to grow as your company grows. You can upgrade and reinvent instead of spending more money on new systems.

You can have a thin client system with agility. This will allow you to connect to any browser. The benefit of this is that the system is located on one centralized server allowing the IT person to do any work on the system without disrupting your daily work. You will also have the ability to connect from a laptop, pocket PC, smartphone, or PDA.
